Ingredients

- 2 cups warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pepperoni, diced
- Coarse salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and sugar to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Shape dough into a wreath and place on a baking sheet.
- Dissolve baking soda in water and dip the wreath.
- Brush wreath with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt.
- Fill the center with cheese and pepperoni.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
