- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
- Season steak with salt and pepper, cook in the skillet until desired doneness.
- Slice the French baguette lengthwise, hollow out some of the bread.
- Layer cooked steak, sautéed vegetables, and cheese inside the bread.
- Wrap the stuffed bread in foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.
