Description
Nature Gatorade is a refreshing, homemade drink made with citrus juice, coconut water, and honey. It naturally replenishes electrolytes, boosts hydration, and is free from artificial colors or preservatives.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup freshly squeezed citrus juice (orange, lemon, or lime)
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1–2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup/agave nectar)
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 cup filtered water
- Ice cubes
- Optional: fresh citrus slices for garnish
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients: citrus juice, coconut water, honey, sea salt, filtered water, and ice cubes.
- Wash and prepare the citrus fruits. Cut and squeeze until you have 1 cup of juice. Strain if desired.
- In a pitcher, combine the citrus juice, coconut water, honey, and sea salt. Stir well until honey dissolves.
- Strain the mixture again if you prefer a smoother drink.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice. Garnish with fresh citrus slices and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh, ripe citrus fruits and pure coconut water for the best flavor. Adjust honey to taste. Store in the fridge for up to 2–3 days or freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
