Ingredients

- 1/4 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (packed) or 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
- 1 cup (8 oz) water
- Optional: Fresh ginger slices
- Optional: Fresh mint leaves
- Optional: Lemon slices or juice
- Optional: Cinnamon stick
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of filtered water in a kettle or small pot.
- Add lemon balm (dried or fresh) to a tea infuser, teapot, or mug.
- Optional: Add ginger slices, mint, cinnamon, or lemon slices for enhanced effect.
- Pour hot water over the herbs, cover, and steep for 8–10 minutes.
- Strain and discard the herbs.
- Squeeze in lemon juice if desired and stir gently.
- Sip slowly, ideally before meals or before bed.
Notes
For best results, drink 1–3 cups daily. Store extra tea in the fridge and drink warm or cold. Not recommended for children, pregnant women, or those with thyroid concerns without doctor approval.
