Description

- 4 hot dogs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 4 skewers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Insert skewers into each hot dog.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip hot dogs into the batter, coating them fully.
- Carefully place the coated hot dogs in the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with ketchup and mustard.
- You can add cheese to the hot dogs before coating.
- Adjust frying time based on your oil temperature.
