Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta (cooked al dente)
- 2 medium chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 4 tbsp butter (unsalted preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream (full-fat for creaminess)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking chicken)
- Salt & black pepper to taste (to season pasta and chicken)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and optional seasonings like garlic powder or paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return sliced chicken to the pan and simmer for a few minutes.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and melt. A splash of lemon juice or white wine can balance the richness.
