Ingredients

  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour, salt, olive oil, garlic, and rosemary to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Divide the dough into muffin-sized portions and place them in a greased muffin tin.
  7. Let the muffins rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
