Description

A savory tart filled with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and Gruyere cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until caramelized.
  4. Add mushrooms and thyme, cooking until mushrooms are soft.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.
  6. Spread the onion and mushroom mixture over the pastry.
  7. Top with shredded Gruyere cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden.
