A savory tart filled with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and Gruyere cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups Gruyere cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until caramelized.
- Add mushrooms and thyme, cooking until mushrooms are soft.
- Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.
- Spread the onion and mushroom mixture over the pastry.
- Top with shredded Gruyere cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Pair with a green salad.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
