- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup buttermilk
- Oil for frying
- 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Soak the chicken pieces in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Coat the chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
