- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into fries.
- Soak the fries in water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat the fries dry with a towel.
- In a bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can use a convection setting on your oven.
- Store leftover fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
