Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray and dust lightly with flour.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and mix in milk and melted butter until smooth.
- Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chopped nuts and cinnamon until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
- While the cake cools, prepare the syrup: in a saucepan, combine sugar, water, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Drizzle the cooled syrup over the warm cake and allow it to soak in for a few minutes before serving.

Ensure proper greasing of the bundt pan to prevent sticking. Let the syrup cool slightly before drizzling to avoid making the cake soggy.
