- 2 cups shelled pistachios (unsalted, preferably raw or dry-roasted)
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- 1 tsp coconut oil or honey (optional, for texture or sweetness)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F if roasting. Spread pistachios on a baking sheet and roast for 7–10 minutes. Cool completely.
- Add pistachios to a food processor. Blend for 1–2 minutes, scrape down sides, and repeat.
- Continue processing for 5–7 minutes until the mixture transforms into a creamy butter.
- Add optional salt or sweetener and blend until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 3 months.
Notes
Use fresh pistachios for best flavor. Avoid adding water, and blend patiently to achieve the perfect creamy consistency.
