Description

A wholesome, tangy, and hearty gluten-free sourdough bread made with organic ingredients and fermented to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup organic brown rice flour
  • 1/2 cup organic sorghum flour
  • 1/4 cup organic tapioca starch
  • 1 1/2 cups active gluten-free sourdough starter
  • 1 1/2 cups filtered water
  • 1 tbsp organic olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all flours and starch.
  2. Add the sourdough starter and filtered water.
  3. Mix well until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Cover and let rest at room temperature for 4-6 hours.
  5. Stir in olive oil and salt, then transfer to a greased loaf pan.
  6. Cover loosely and let rise for another 1-2 hours.
  7. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the crust is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Ensure your sourdough starter is active and bubbly before using. This bread is best stored in a breathable bag or cloth at room temperature for up to 3 days.
